When something
is not working.

Check your Shopify admin first, not the app. Open the product and look at the Description field and the Search engine listing section. If they are updated there, the app has done its job — the issue is theme caching or a theme that does not render the description field where you are looking. If those fields are empty, email us with the product URL.

The editor shows a live character counter and turns red past the limit — 60 characters for titles, 155 for descriptions. Trim it before publishing. Search engines truncate beyond those lengths, so it is worth fixing rather than ignoring.

Every generation is version-snapshotted. Open the product, go to the History tab, and restore any previous version. Each content section also offers “Show original content” with a revert option.

The Jobs page auto-refreshes and slows its polling when nothing is changing, so a static screen does not always mean a stuck job. Check the elapsed time and completed count. If it genuinely is not moving, cancel it and use Resume — it picks up from the product it reached rather than starting over.

Alt text is generated per image and applied to your product media. If some images failed, the app tells you how many succeeded rather than reporting blanket success. Re-run to retry the failures.

Uninstalling permanently deletes your store’s data from our systems, including drafts and version history. Content you had already published is in Shopify’s own product fields and is unaffected. Unpublished drafts cannot be recovered after uninstall.
