A 30,000-SKU Shopify store:
what we run on it.

This is the store Navaal AI is built on: a live B2B wholesale operation on Shopify with more than 30,000 SKUs, run by the same team that builds our client work and our apps. Every tool we ship — from theme code to AI content generation — is tested here first, on real orders and a real catalogue, before anyone else relies on it.

// 01 — The challenge

A catalogue too big
to run by hand.

A wholesale catalogue of this size breaks every manual workflow. With 30,000+ SKUs, nobody can write product descriptions one at a time, keep meta titles unique, maintain alt text, or hand-check what changed after a platform update. Every job that takes two minutes per product becomes a thousand-hour problem at catalogue scale.

B2B wholesale adds its own layer: trade customers, bulk ordering patterns, and stock that moves in volumes a retail theme was never designed for. Off-the-shelf apps either choked on the catalogue size or priced themselves out at per-product rates.

So we did what we now do for clients: treated the store as a software problem, not a content chore — and built the tooling.

What it actually
runs on.

Custom theme work tuned for a 30,000-SKU catalogue — collection architecture, search, and performance at a scale most themes never meet. The August 2026 checkout upgrade hit this store too; auditing our own tracking is where the Checkout Upgrade Audit service came from.

Claude-powered content

Product descriptions, meta tags, FAQ schema and alt text generated at catalogue scale in the store's own brand voice — the workflow that became Navaal: AI SEO & GEO Content, our flagship Shopify app.

Custom automation

Background jobs for bulk generation, catalogue hygiene and monitoring — built on the same stack we use for client software, so a failed job pages a human and nothing silently rots.

// 03 — The outcomes

Three things that
actually changed.

01

The whole catalogue is optimised — not the top 100 products

AI-generated, answer-first content across the full 30,000+ SKU range: descriptions, unique meta titles and descriptions, FAQ schema and alt text. Work that was economically impossible by hand now runs as a background job. [PLACEHOLDER: % of catalogue covered / generations run]

02

Content work measured in hours, not staff-years

What previously meant hiring content staff for a year of typing became a supervised pipeline: generate in bulk, review, publish. The store team reviews output instead of producing it. [PLACEHOLDER: hours saved per month / before-after time per product]

03

It became the product line

The tooling built for this store is now Navaal's app ecosystem — led by Navaal: AI SEO & GEO Content on the Shopify App Store — plus the audit services we run for other merchants. Nothing we sell is untested theory; it shipped here first. [PLACEHOLDER: app installs / review count when available]
